Talino Venture Labs is a Filipino-led global venture studio headquartered in California and building tech startups across Asia and the United States. Our mission is to accelerate economic growth and recovery for the emerging middle class around the world. Exciting times are afoot at Talino Venture Labs, and as we look to pitch to more investors, scale our operations, and bring inclusion and impact to markets that need it most, we are looking for a Product Designer.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with business analysis, marketing, engineering, and product teams in planning and executing FinTech products and services, using a customer-focused, iterative design process for projects
2. Work closely with the business analysts to suggest improvements for products and processes
3. Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication
4. Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences
5. Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
6. Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs using Figma
7. Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. efficiency, effectiveness, satisfaction)
8. Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and business analysts
9. Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
10. Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions
11. Understand product specifications and user psychology
Desired Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio of mobile or product design projects
- Understands the value of the concept and usability testing to validate designs
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD)
- Familiarity with the use of Figma components, auto layout, and grids for product design
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics and front-end pattern implications to design
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Experience in designing products for SAAS, fintech, or a related industry
- Experience working in teams in planning and shipping digital product
